"Greek Women of Wine" visit the wineries of Drama and Mount Pangeon
Led by the Dionysian charm of the MountPangeon, "Greek Women of Wine" visited the town of Drama and the marvelous wineries of its region. The three-day expedition (Friday, May 11 to Sunday, May 13, 2007) proved worth the distance, as wine tasting and guided tours at Chateau Lazaridi, Pavlidis Estate, Mikrochori Wine Art Estate, Domaine Kostas Lazaridis, Domaine Manolesakis and Biblia Chora Estategave vivid examples of the region's high potential.
Wine Plus Spring excursion
On a sunny Sunday of April 27, 2007 we set off for the Evzoniki cheese plant at Evzonoi, Kilkis. We took a tour to the ultra modern, ultra clean production and storage rooms, before tasting the different kinds of the delicious cheese they produce. The Balkan Botanical Garden of Kroussia was our next target: we enjoyed nature at its best and we had an excellent outdoor lunch under the trees tasting local delicacies.
